From 24 to 27 March, our project was at the IEEE Wireless Communication and Networking Conference in Milan. IEEE WCNC is organized by the IEEE Communications Society and it brings together researchers from academia, industry and government institutions.
In the context of the topic 6G Horizons Bridging Beyond Wireless, FIDAL Project was present with a booth to showcase to the visitors some the project's latest advancements and applications including a presentation on the FIDAL experimentation Framework with a focus on the End-to-End orchestration and integration with Maestro, the Network application deployment and Experimentation and Monitoring Analytics.
This was also an opportunity for FIDAL to showcase some examples of projects tested through the University of Patras from the first round of Open Calls including:
- AI ARMORS: a project that leverages smart sensors, AI and 5G real time communication to create a faster and more efficient response to accidents to enhance road safety.
- 5G EVEARA: a solution providing enhanced live music streaming through 5G and real-time collaborative music production to facilitate music production with a co-creation approach
- VideoGEE: a project providing near reak-time video summarization, helping users identify relevant content. The project enhances an existing AI-driven streaming leveraging 5G capabilities to analyze vides, audios and texts.
