The FIDAL 3rd General Assembly (GA) took place on 14th and 15th May and was hosted by our partner Telenor in their state-of-the-art facilities in Fornebu (Oslo). During the two-days meeting partners came together to discuss a key milestone for FIDAL: almost 18 months of project completion. The GA was an opportunity to present the key achievements to date, and challenges encountered as well as agree on future activities including but not limited to: the preparation of the start of the Large-Scale trials, the onboarding of the selected applicants from the first FIDAL Open Call and the preparation of the upcoming EUCNC & 6G Summit event.

During the General Assembly, an exhibition space was set up. Four Use Cases showcased some of the advancements in the technology development related to their Cases. Some of the demonstrations performed included: Haptic Senses/Internet of Senses (UC1), Networked Music performance (UC5), XR-Assisted emergency surgical operations (UC6.1) and XR-Assisted Services For Public Safety (UC6.2). This was an opportunity for some of the FIDAL partners to prepare the demonstration in view of the upcoming EUCNC & 6G Summit.
