This document provides a consolidated policy update based on the evidence generated by the FIDAL project. Its purpose is to summarise how FIDAL’s technical work, experimentation results and cross-country testbed deployments inform current and emerging EU policy directions relevant to 6G. The project’s activities span AI-enabled network automation, open-source orchestration and API frameworks, multi-domain slicing, and vertical trials in Media and Public Protection and Disaster Relief (PPDR). Together, these contributions provide practical insights that help clarify how 6G technologies intersect with the EU’s regulatory and strategic priorities.
