For the second year in a row, FIDAL was selected as one of the projects featured in the 2026 SNS JU Trials and Pilots Borchure. This year, Open Call project from Round 1 applications, SwarmCatcher, was selected as a successful example of trial.

FIDAL participated in the 2025 EuCNC & 6G Summit in Málaga, bringing together project partners, Open Call beneficiaries and members of the wider European 5G and 6G community.

On 24 February, FIDAL Project and the Smart Networks and Services Joint Undertaking (SNS JU), Measurement and Validation Working Group (TMV WG) co-hosted a webinar dedicated to KPI reporting methodologies and results for 6G experimentation.

On 26th June 2025, FIDAL hosted a webinar to introduce the 2025 Open Call Winners, spotlighting cutting-edge technologies currently under development and testing. The event provided an excellent platform for collaboration, sharing insights, and driving innovation in next-generation 5G and beyond.

For the third year in a row, FIDAL took part as an exhibitor and speaker at EUCNC, and this year was particularly rich in engagement and knowledge exchange.

6G4Society organized the Workshop “Beyond 5G technology for public safety: bridging innovation & societal values” in the frame of the PSCE Spring Conference. FIDAL contributed to the session by sharing examples from the PPDR KVIs specifically developed in the context of its Use Case 2.

Last Monday 14th April, FIDAL participated to 6G Monday, an event organized by the 3GPP Organization Partner in ETSI. The event was an opportunity for key stakeholders to come together to look at the current state of advancement on 6G Progress.

In December 2024, FIDAL had the opportunity to organize a dedicated workshop on PPDR at the PSCE Conference in Brussels, bringing together a range of key stakeholders, partners, and innovators in public safety technology. Learn more!

The ETSI SDG OpenSlice (OSL) has released its second major version of OSL (Release 2024Q4). FIDAL directly contributed to the Kubernetes extensions and the Custom Resource orchestration logic as well as the Product layer APIs, since these features were developed to support the offerings of Kubernetes related resources as a service to experimenters.

FIDAL was one of the projects that was involved in the development of the Vertical Engagement Tracker (VET). The VET monitors the progress of Europe’s 6G Smart Networks and Services Joint Undertaking (SNS JU) in developing 6G technologies across various industries.
