Latest participation of FIDAL in the EuCNC & 6G Summit with contributions in workshops, special session and indoor Booth as well as the organization of an external demonstration outdoors. 

FIDAL was invited to the PSCE Conference to share some practical examples of real-world validation trials of PPDR innovations that have been tested in the last year of work of the project, with highlights on some of the key results collected. 

FIDAL attended the IEEE NOMS 2026 with a paper presentation on AI-fuelled Adaptive Handovers and Energy-aware Mechanisms in 5G Cellular Networks

During the InterAigis International Exhibition in Athens,  the Satways team showcased in their booth how 5G-powered Network Digital Twins can significantly advance wildfire management operations. 

The FIDAL Innovation Event took place on 13 March 2026 in Aschaffenburg, following the successful completion of a large-scale pilot trial conducted under the European Critical Communication System Programme gathering over 60 participants from 15 different countries. The event showcased a live demonstration from Use Case two and selected PPDR solutions from the second round of Open Calls. 

From 25 to 27 November, FIDAL project was at the 14th International Federation for Information Processing (IFIP), co-organized with IEEE on Performance Evaluation and Modeling in Wired and Wireless Networks to present our newly accepted paper on 
Introducing a Framework for a Vendor-Agnostic 5G Network Data Space.

For the third year in a row, FIDAL took part in EUCNC, and this year was particularly rich in engagement and knowledge exchange. The project contributed to the event with a dynamic demonstration booth as well as interventions in special sessions and workshops. 

FIDAL was one of the three projects invited to share insights from the PPDR KVIs developed in the context of Use Case 2.  Inputs were gathered in the format of an intevriew-liked video. 

Last Monday 14th April, FIDAL participated to 6G Monday, an event organized by the 3GPP Organization 

On 4th December, FIDAL Project Coordinator participated at the PSCE Conference in Brussels to present to the audience the current status of the project activities as well as the upcoming activties that are part of the large-scales testing palns.
